Sydenhams for Carcassing

Carcassing timber is one of the most requested product groups at Sydenhams, with sizes from
19mm x 38mm battens to 150mm x 300mm section size and lengths from 2.4m to 7.2m.

Most Sydenham branches carry a comprehensive range of Graded, Regularized, Treated carcassing ready for delivery or collection. The majority of this is Kiln dried and graded in the country of origin to BS4978 and graded to C16 and C24.

Many other section sizes can be cut from our 2 specialist milling facilities at Wickham and Poole depots, where the material can also be visually stress graded (certified by TRADA) and treated under licence from Osmose.

We can also cut fencing material such as Feather Edge boarding, Arris Rail and Cant Rail; Firring Pieces for flat roofs and Site Pegs for setting out, which can all be cross cut to length if required.

For safety, we stock machine graded British Standard Kite Marked Scaffold Boards, all with metal plated ends for extra durability.
